Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Ravi ("I," "me," or "my") handles information in connection with ravib.info (the "Site"). It applies to the Site and does not govern third-party websites or services linked from it.
Information Processed
Technical information. When you access the Site, hosting and infrastructure providers process information necessary to deliver and secure it. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, request timestamps, and related network metadata.
Communications. If you contact me, I may receive the information you choose to provide, including your name, contact details, and message content. Communications through external platforms are also subject to those platforms' privacy practices.
Local processing. The Site's utility functions and keyword search process inputs in your browser. The application code does not transmit those inputs to me or to an external processing service. Optional semantic search likewise processes queries locally when available.
Purposes of Processing
Information is processed to provide and maintain the Site, deliver requested functionality, protect against misuse, diagnose technical issues, respond to inquiries, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where enabled, hosting-provider analytics are used to understand Site usage and performance.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Cloudflare provides hosting and related infrastructure services. Enabling optional semantic search causes your browser to request software and model assets from jsDelivr, Hugging Face, and their delivery infrastructure. These providers receive technical information associated with those requests, even if the feature does not initialize successfully.
Providers process information under applicable service arrangements and their own privacy notices. See Cloudflare and Hugging Face for further information.
I may disclose information I hold when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, or investigate misuse of the Site.
Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage
The Site's application code does not set advertising cookies or include advertising networks. Hosting and security services may use technologies necessary to deliver and protect the Site. Where enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics collects usage and performance measurements.
Your browser may cache Site files and optional model assets. Browser settings allow you to manage cookies, cached files, and site storage. Restricting or deleting stored data may affect functionality or cause files to be downloaded again.
External Websites
Following a link to another website causes your browser to connect to that website. Its collection and use of information are governed by its own terms and privacy policy. I do not control those practices.
Retention and Security
I retain communications and other information I receive only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including applicable legal obligations and the resolution of disputes. Infrastructure providers maintain their own operational records under their applicable policies. Cached files remain subject to browser settings and storage management.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, financial account details, or other sensitive information in privacy inquiries.
Your Rights and Choices
You may use keyword search without enabling semantic search and may manage local storage through your browser. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information, including access, correction, or deletion. To make a request concerning information I hold, contact me using the method below. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Requests will be handled as required by applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
I may revise this policy to reflect changes in the Site or applicable requirements. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where required by law, additional notice will be provided.
